Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Strategic Account Specialist to join our client in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have be responsible for growing, managing key accounts and customers related to Next Generation Sequencing or/and Medical Devices and applications associated with the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies to expand market share in both Bioscience and Medical Device sectors to manage key customers and build strong, lasting relationships.
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within target organizations and establish strong professional relationships.
- Research, prospect, and build connections with new clients to expand business opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals that address client requirements and objectives.
- Participate in pricing discussions and negotiations, ensuring competitive and attractive offers.
- Handle objections and resolve differences effectively, leading to positive outcomes.
- Attend industry functions, association events, and conferences to gain insights into market trends and innovations.
- Present to mid- and senior-level management on business trends and growth opportunities.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels to boost sales.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in medical devices or bioscience sales.
- Good understanding of NGS and Antibody drug discovery, along with solid knowledge of the medical device industry.
- Strong network within the medical device and bioscience sectors, including key decision-makers and industry professionals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Biosciences, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, using data to make informed decisions.
- Ability to manage projects across different teams, identifying risks and solving problems.
- High level of discretion and trustworthiness with confidential information.
- English proficiency is a plus
