Requirements Engineer

Senior Requirements Engineer - 6 - 12 Month Contract

We are partnering with a global manufacturing company on a strategic initiative to harmonize product range requirements across multiple mechatronic products and software platforms. This project involves migrating requirements, consolidating conflicting and unclear requirements, and creating a clean, unified structure.

Your Role

As a Senior Requirements Engineer, you will:

• Assist the global product requirements engineering team in elicitation, definition, and consolidation of requirements using Codebeamer.
• Analyze overlaps and differences across requirements, consolidate and minimize redundancies.
• Accurately articulate requirements while considering change impacts and managing stakeholders.
• Apply a consulting mindset and strong analytical thinking to deliver clarity and structure.
• Support migration from Jira to Codebeamer and ensure consistency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit and define requirements from global stakeholders.
• Consolidate and harmonize requirements across hardware and software domains.
• Create modular and scalable designs using UML diagrams.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Experience:

• 5-8 years at stakeholder/system requirements level.
• Consulting mindset & independent thinking.
• Interdisciplinary stakeholder management.
• Proficient in UML diagrams and modular design principles.
