Job Title: National BD Manager

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced National BD Manager to join our client in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, import and export activites, ideally with healthcare clients globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a country and account strategy plan.
  • Plan and manage the budget to meet sales objectives and costs control.
  • Develop predictable revenue forecasting and take action where potential deviations are identified
  • Lead, develop and manage the sales team.
  • Monitor and steer the progress of sales pipeline by using sales and performance analytics.
  • Meet key clients, maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities for partnership growth.
  • Attend to service failures to ensure appropriate resolutions are offered in close interdepartmental collaboration with the company's customer service and operations team.
  • Run Japanese-language campaigns in collaboration with the marketing department and subject matter experts and manage agency relations for SEO, SEM and social media marketing projects
  • Localize advertising, marketing collaterals, sales kits and other promotional materials for Japan market
  • Provide support for lead nurturing and demand generation campaigns
  • Responsible for managing content for website & social media marketing
  • Grow regional email marketing database, measure and analyse activities results
  • Execute events such as workshops and tradeshows and support PR-related activities

Requirements:

  • Strong written and spoken Japanese and fluent English
  • Strong organizational, communication and project management skills
  • Able to manage and lead a local and virtual team
  • Prior B2B Marketing or advertising work experience
  • Experience with Sales processes and strong interest in the role of marketing communications to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth
  • Experience of Pardot & Salesforce systems
  • Experience of managing and developing key accounts
  • Commercial and Customer focus
