A leading medical device manufacturer in Rotterdam is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis. This is a 12-month contract offering the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, GMP-compliant environment focused on quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production and laboratory equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ISO and GMP standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Production, and Engineering
• Support equipment qualification, calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrated experience in maintenance engineering within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and equipment validation protocols
• Background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous
• Freelance availability and registered to operate in the Netherlands
