Finance Director - Manufacturing

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading international organisation to appoint a Finance Director for a key manufacturing site. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to play a central part in driving financial performance and supporting operational decision-making.

You will act as a trusted partner to site leadership, bringing financial insight and supporting the ongoing development of a high-performing manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all financial activities for the site, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
• Provide clear financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking processes
• Partner closely with operations to improve cost efficiency and productivity
• Support investment decisions and ensure strong financial governance
• Oversee accounting, compliance, and audit activities
• Lead and develop the local finance team

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a finance leadership role within manufacturing or industry
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Solid understanding of financial planning, analysis, and cost management
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator, able to work closely with non-finance teams
