Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global strategic marketing plan for the Personal Care segment, aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Translate global strategies into actionable regional initiatives in collaboration with sales, product management, R&D, and supply chain teams.
  • Drive market intelligence activities including customer insights, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies, pricing frameworks, and KPI tracking to measure commercial performance.
  • Lead the development and launch of new products, including positioning, value propositions, and supporting marketing materials.
  • Manage and track key strategic initiatives and growth projects across global markets.
  • Act as a marketing lead for key strategic accounts, supporting tailored growth strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams, leading alignment across regions and functions.
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, strengthening market presence.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives and broader brand positioning activities.

Innovation
  • Build and manage a robust innovation pipeline in close collaboration with R&D.
  • Lead cross-functional innovation projects, including business case development and product launch planning.
  • Conduct voice-of-customer activities to identify unmet needs and generate new product ideas.
  • Support stage-gate processes by developing commercial strategies and validating market opportunities.
  • Develop differentiated value propositions for new and existing product portfolios.

Stakeholder Management
  • Interface with regional marketing, sales, product management, and leadership teams.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for senior leadership reviews and strategic updates.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing processes, tools, and governance.
  • Act as a global ambassador for the organisation's brand, values, and market positioning.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA is advantageous.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing within specialty chemicals or Personal Care ingredients.
  • Strong background in market strategy, innovation management, and commercial execution.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organisations with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of the Personal Care market, trends, and value chain.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).
