Director Global Pipeline Marketing

EPM Scientific are Recruiting for a Director of Global Pipeline Marketing to join our Global Ocular Health & Pharmaceutical leadership team.

In this high‑impact role, you will define global strategy, guide portfolio development, drive launch excellence, and partner cross‑functionally to advance a dynamic and growing product pipeline.

What You'll Do

Global Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

  • Lead strategy development for a global pharmaceutical portfolio exceeding $600M.
  • Build complex portfolio scenarios reflecting market dynamics, competition, patient flow, forecasting constraints, and payer landscapes.
  • Recommend resource allocation and trade‑off decisions across strategic priorities.

Launch Excellence & Commercialization

  • Develop the global commercial strategic playbook and partner cross‑functionally to deliver launch and lifecycle plans.
  • Operationalize launch governance, readiness scorecards, KPIs, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Provide annual commercial guidance to regional partners and champion insight‑driven positioning and segmentation.

Insights, Forecasting & Analytics

  • Shape global forecast models, including epidemiology, patient-flow modeling, and uptake curve assumptions.
  • Conduct evidence‑based valuations, analogue benchmarking, and scenario‑based decision support.
  • Synthesize market trends and competitive activity to inform global strategy.

Market Access, Pricing & HEOR

  • Support payer strategy development, evidence generation needs, pricing corridors, GTN modeling, and access planning.
  • Integrate long‑range access strategy with annual brand planning and financial forecasting.

Innovation, BD&L & Customer Insight

  • Evaluate external business development opportunities to expand the pharmaceutical portfolio.
  • Lead global segmentation, positioning, and claims development supported by rigorous insights research.
  • Partner with Digital and Analytics teams to advance omnichannel and digital marketing activation.

Operations, S&OP & Financial Stewardship

  • Provide commercial leadership into S&OP processes, manufacturing planning, and capital investment considerations.
  • Connect demand signals, launch planning, and supply scenarios to financial and operational outcomes.
  • Oversee brand budgets, forecast pacing, ROI tracking, and strategic reallocation of resources.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 6+ years in global or US strategic marketing, launch excellence, portfolio strategy, or market access.
  • Experience in ophthalmology or specialty care strongly preferred.
  • Proven cross‑functional influence and leadership.
  • Strong quantitative skill set including forecasting, market modeling, pricing analytics, GTN waterfall analysis, and ROI evaluation.
  • Ability to translate insights into strategic, actionable recommendations and communicate them effectively at all levels.
  • Hands‑on mindset with the ability to scale between tactical execution and executive‑level strategy.
