About the Company
A pioneering MedTech innovator is developing a minimally invasive, continuous glucose monitoring system for Intensive Care Units (ICUs). Supported by European research funding, the company is preparing for commercialization and global scale-up.
Role Overview
As Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead the go-to-market strategy, driving adoption of a novel ICU glucose monitoring solution across Europe and beyond. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, scaling sales operations, and positioning the company as a leader in critical care innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industry Expertise
- Deep understanding of medical technology and hospital systems, particularly in critical care or ICU environments.
- Proven ability to navigate complex healthcare ecosystems, including providers, payers, and regulatory bodies.
2. Commercial Leadership
- Lead sales, business development, and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute commercial strategy from early adopters to full market penetration.
- Oversee pre-sales activities including clinical engagement, product demonstrations, and solution design.
3. Technical Acumen
- Strong grasp of digital health integration within hospital IT and monitoring systems.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and support clinical value propositions.
4. Entrepreneurial Drive
- "Hunter" mindset with a passion for early-stage commercialization.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
- Demonstrated experience in taking a product from €0 to €1M in revenue, including identifying early market opportunities and iterating on go-to-market strategies.
5. Strategic Growth & Exit Planning
- Experience in developing and executing exit strategies, including preparing for acquisition, IPO, or strategic partnerships.
- Ability to align commercial growth with long-term value creation and investor expectations.
6. Communication & Influence
- Exceptional communicator, able to translate complex clinical and technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; German or French is a strong plus.
7. Remote Leadership
- Self-motivated and effective in a remote-first organization.
- Comfortable leading distributed teams and engaging with international partners.
