We are seeking a Business Development Associate to support project execution, customer engagement, and internal coordination across scientific and operational groups. What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with scientific, project management, and operations teams to support smooth project execution.
  • Provide internal teams with customer feedback and market insights.
  • Assist with CRM updates and opportunity tracking.
  • Build relationships with research teams and external partners.
  • Support business development activities across the region.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or a related life science field.

Experience

  • Experience in biomedical research, mouse models, or preclinical research is preferred.
  • Exposure to sales, customer‑facing roles, or research collaboration is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Genuine interest in biotechnology business development.
  • Ability to develop relationships with scientists and research teams.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely.

Other Requirements

  • Must reside in the San Diego region.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, conferences, and industry events.
  • Ability to attend vendor shows and networking events.
