Analyst, Biophysics and Formulation Development

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to support early-stage formulation projects, with a focus on nanoparticle characterization and cross-functional lab work. This role offers hands-on experience in both formulation and analytical development within a collaborative research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analytical testing on nanoparticulate formulations and process development samples using established methods.
• Assist in the development and qualification of new assays to evaluate formulation characteristics.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic lab notebooks.
• Input data into central databases and help identify trends or anomalies.
• Contribute to the drafting and refinement of laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Present findings to the formulation team and participate in project meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in basic lab techniques such as pipetting, solution preparation, and instrument handling.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety and environmental health standards.
• Understanding of the drug development process; knowledge of regulatory considerations for liposome and nanoparticle formulations is an asset.

Education:

• B.Sc. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry), completed within the past year.
