Are you a data‑driven Supply Chain Analyst with experience in the life sciences sector?
I'm supporting a leading pharmaceutical organisation in Germany who are looking for an analytical, detail‑oriented professional to join their Supply Chain Operations team on a 12‑month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to support critical supply chain activities within a highly regulated, fast‑paced environment that directly impacts patient lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse supply chain data to support planning, forecasting, and operational decision‑making
- Monitor KPIs across inventory, logistics, procurement, and production
- Support demand planning and inventory management activities to prevent shortages and delays
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance
- Provide insights to optimise supply chain processes and reduce operational risks
- Generate dashboards, reports, and performance summaries using ERP and BI tools
- Assist in operational issue resolution for inbound/outbound materials and finished goods
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience as a Supply Chain Analyst within pharma, biotech, medical devices, or a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP, ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
- Understanding of supply chain processes (demand planning, inventory, logistics, procurement)
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear business insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Fluent English required; German language skills are highly desirable
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
- Additional certifications (e.g., APICS/CPIM, Six Sigma) beneficial but not essential
