Sales Development Representative (Medical Technology)
An innovative and fast-growing medical technology company is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support its commercial expansion from its Munich office.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within healthcare and medtech markets
- Build and qualify a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and lead generation
- Conduct consultative sales, understanding customer needs and positioning tailored solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to prepare proposals and presentations
- Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments (e.g., MDR, FDA)
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Candidate Profile
- Degree in medical engineering, life sciences, or business with healthcare exposure
- 3-4 years' experience in sales, business development, or pre-sales within medtech/healthcare
- Proven "hunter" mindset with strong lead generation and closing capabilities
- Strong understanding of sales processes and consultative selling techniques
