Sales Development Representative (Medical Technology)

An innovative and fast-growing medical technology company is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support its commercial expansion from its Munich office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within healthcare and medtech markets
  • Build and qualify a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and lead generation
  • Conduct consultative sales, understanding customer needs and positioning tailored solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to prepare proposals and presentations
  • Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments (e.g., MDR, FDA)
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in medical engineering, life sciences, or business with healthcare exposure
  • 3-4 years' experience in sales, business development, or pre-sales within medtech/healthcare
  • Proven "hunter" mindset with strong lead generation and closing capabilities
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and consultative selling techniques
