Product Manager - Ruminants

Position: Product Manager - Ruminant Specialisation (M/F)
Permanent Contract (CDI) - Based in Saint-Malo, France

Your Role

Reporting to the Technical & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and managing the ruminant product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Provide species-specific technical expertise, supporting sales teams and customers with field-related challenges.
  • Assist in organising technical seminars and implementing field trials (protocol validation, monitoring, and analysis).
  • Support sales teams in the field, presenting products to formulators, nutritionists, and key clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, continuously developing both personal and organisational knowledge.
  • Write technical content for the website and specialised trade publications.
  • Deliver technical training sessions to sales teams.
  • Encourage collaboration between regional sales teams.
  • Participate in trade shows and scientific conferences.

Operational Marketing

  • Promote product features and performance through tailored marketing materials (presentations, brochures, reports, articles, and white papers).
  • Collect and relay market and customer insights in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Develop a species-specific strategy addressing current and future challenges.
  • Contribute to shaping and adapting the product offering based on local market needs.
  • Ensure alignment between innovation projects and market opportunities in collaboration with product development teams.
  • Monitor technical trends and competitive developments.
  • Lead the launch and commercialisation of new products.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Animal Production Engineering or related field, with a strong interest in the sector.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good command of English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally approximately once per month.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and organised.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with solid experience in the ruminant sector.
