Location: San Francisco, CA - 3 days on site

Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. patient marketing strategy for a late-stage asset, driving integrated planning across product teams and commercial functions.
  • Develop and execute patient-focused brand strategy including positioning, messaging, and narrative development across audiences.
  • Oversee innovative, data-driven campaigns that drive disease awareness, engagement, and long-term adoption.
  • Translate patient and caregiver insights into impactful initiatives across education, advocacy, access, and adherence programs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Market Access, Medical Affairs, Insights, Digital, and external agencies to deliver cohesive programs.
  • Partner with value and access teams to support patient access, reimbursement strategy, and support programs.
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate performance and optimize patient engagement strategies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience with strong progression in marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading brand strategy across patient (and ideally HCP) audiences.
  • Proven launch experience, ideally within rare disease, specialty, or competitive markets.
  • Neurology experience particularly within neuromuscular preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing agency partners within complex organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly self-directed, adaptable, and motivated by improving outcomes for patients with serious conditions.
