We have a current opportunity with a global leader in temperature-controlled equipment, that has been expanding its commercial efforts across the US. This position will own and expand the West Coast territory for new and existing biotech, life science, laboratories, and pharmaceutical customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the West Coast territory by expanding business with new and existing customers
- Maintain knowledge of the assigned portfolio, and identify opportunities for growth over competitors by understanding market trends
- Create strategic plans of expansion for the territory, field promotions, and tradeshows to create brand awareness with key accounts
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in customer-facing sales, business development, or field-related roles
- Experience selling to life science, distribution, or industrial laboratories
- Experience with Temperature Controlled Environment Equipment or similar Capital Equipment Preferred
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree, Preference in a Scientific area
- The preferred location for this candidate is Los Angeles and the Greater Los Angeles areas
- Must be able to travel 40-70% throughout the territory
