Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support a key manufacturing project near Clermont-Ferrand. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring equipment, systems, documentation, and process controls are fully prepared and operational ahead of engineering and production activities.

Working closely with engineering, quality, and operational teams, you will help drive readiness, provide technical support during installation activities, and ensure process monitoring and documentation standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment and implementation of process monitoring and data logging systems.
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Verify equipment readiness and ensure systems are installed and functioning according to project requirements.
  • Confirm process parameters are appropriately monitored, recorded, and maintained throughout operations.
  • Review manufacturing and engineering readiness prior to batch execution.
  • Witness and verify preparation of assemblies, equipment, and supporting systems.
  • Ensure required documentation, protocols, and records are completed and approved before execution activities begin.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, validation, and production teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Identify risks and support timely issue resolution to maintain project timelines.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Process Engineer within a manufacturing or regulated industrial environment.
  • Proven experience supporting commissioning, qualification, validation, or engineering batch activities.
  • Strong understanding of process control, equipment readiness, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work on-site for the duration of the contract.
  • Professional French language capability preferred.

Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with operations, engineering, and quality teams, they will bring strong technical troubleshooting skills, an eye for documentation compliance, and experience ensuring equipment and processes are fully prepared for execution.
