A rapidly growing Specialty Pharmaceutical company with a recent successful launch and growing pipeline is seeking a Senior Director, Market Access Analytics to join its Commercial Operations organization. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to Market Access leadership, overseeing analytics across Trade, IDN, and National Accounts, while helping shape data-driven access strategies that support commercial growth, reimbursement optimization, and patient access. This role will also play a key leadership position within the organization, responsible for developing talent, influencing analytics strategy, and partnering closely with the VP of Market Access.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Market Access Analytics function supporting Trade, IDN, and National Accounts teams.
- Partner with Market Access leadership to develop and execute analytics strategies that inform contracting, reimbursement, pricing, and access decisions.
- Influence the broader data and analytics strategy across Commercial Operations and Market Access.
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments and lead through challenging business discussions with both internal and external partners.
- Analyze payer, channel, and customer data to identify trends impacting product performance and market access.
- Drive forecasting, performance measurement, and scenario planning related to access, contracting, and reimbursement initiatives.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities supporting Market Access decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, Forecasting, Data Strategy, Commercial Operations, and field leadership to drive aligned business strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in Market Access Analytics, Commercial Analytics, or related pharmaceutical analytics leadership roles. Prior pharmaceutical industry and/or consulting experience required.
- Proven success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing analytics teams.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making.
- Expertise working with large healthcare datasets, including claims, specialty pharmacy, HUB, and syndicated data sources.
- Experience with payer contracting, reimbursement, gross-to-net (GTN), channel analytics, and access strategy.
- Track record of building analytics frameworks, dashboards, forecasting models, and strategic insights that drive business outcomes.
