Location: Central Switzerland (home-based; preferred location within Aarau, Basel, Bern, or Lucerne region)

A global medical device organisation focused on developing innovative solutions in cardiovascular care is looking to strengthen its Swiss commercial team. The company specialises in technologies for the management and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Country Manager, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for independently managing a defined territory, driving commercial success, and leading all regional sales activities.
The role combines strategic planning, sales execution, customer engagement, and team leadership across a portfolio of Cardiac Rhythm Management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Management
- Full ownership of a defined region, including revenue performance and growth
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies and business plans
- Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining and expanding existing accounts
- Continuously assess territory potential and identify new business opportunities
Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiology stakeholders, including cardiologists and electrophysiologists
- Provide product training and clinical education within customer sites
- Engage both existing and prospective customers to support product adoption
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and coordinate a team of sales representatives and technical specialists
- Oversee all commercial and operational activities within the region
- Drive performance, collaboration, and development within the team
Strategy & Planning
- Develop regional forecasts, sales plans, and performance tracking
- Align activities with broader country and business objectives
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer needs
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Strong background in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) or Electrophysiology (EP)
- Proven experience in cardiology medical device sales
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales territory or regional business
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Technical Expertise
- Experience with cardiac devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, or EP/ablation technologies
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on, results-driven approach
- Ability to work autonomously in a home-based environment
