Role Overview

A midsize pharmaceutical company is seeking a dedicated Hospital Sales Specialist to cover their Cleveland territory. This role is pivotal in driving sales and establishing strong relationships with key opinion leaders within the territory to meet the needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance by meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual goals within territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, and key stakeholders
  • Deliver clinical education and promote products through in-services, meetings, and programs (speaker events, conferences)
  • Develop and execute territory business plans; analyze performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Manage territory operations, including reporting, budgeting, collaboration with internal teams, and customer follow-ups

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Strong communication, presentation, and clinical/scientific selling skills
  • Proven ability to manage a territory, prioritize work, and drive results independently
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, plus ability to meet credentialing, licensing, and training requirements
