Clinical Project Manager
An innovative and rapidly growing international CRO is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to join its Clinical Operations team. This is a rare opportunity to become the organisation's first Clinical Project Manager in Germany and play a pivotal role in supporting ongoing growth across Europe.
With operations spanning multiple regions and therapeutic areas, the organisation partners with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies to deliver high-quality clinical research programmes globally. Their approach extends beyond traditional clinical trial execution, combining scientific expertise, strategic partnership, and operational excellence to support successful development programmes from concept through completion.
The Opportunity
As Clinical Project Manager, you will take ownership of international clinical studies from start-up through close-out while acting as the primary point of contact for sponsors and key stakeholders.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. This role offers significant visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence clinical operations within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of global and regional clinical studies
- Serve as the primary contact for sponsors and study stakeholders
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Coordinate cross-functional study teams and external vendors
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and applicable regulations
- Provide project reporting, forecasting, and status updates
- Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences or a related field
- Proven Clinical Project Management experience within a CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment
- Strong understanding of clinical trial delivery and drug development
- Experience managing international clinical studies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a remote environment
- Fluent English language skills
