Business Development Consultant
EPM are collaborating with a breakthrough care provider client of ours. Our client focuses on providing high-quality, personalised care for residents, emphasising a patient-centered approach and a commitment to professional excellence.
My client is is looking for a Freelance Business Development specialist to join their team and be part of an exciting project to expand and grow!
Experience Needed:
- Proven track record in business development or placements within the supported living or social care sector.
- Prior experience at large healthcare providers (e.g., NHS trusts, private care groups, or housing associations).
- Strong understanding of referral pathways, local authority commissioning, and ICB (Integrated Care Board) funding routes.
Key Skills Required:
- Ability to source and secure resident placements through relationships with placement officers, hospital discharge teams, and ICB contacts.
- Strategic and results-oriented approach to resident procurement.
- Familiarity with supported living frameworks, and stakeholder concerns when assessing resident placements.
- Understanding of funding mechanisms, eligibility assessments, and ICB decision-making processes.
- Knowledge of the South East London boroughs (e.g., Lewisham, Greenwich, Bromley) and existing local referral networks is highly desirable.
Contract details:
- 12 month contract
- Ad-hoc
- Hourly rate dependant on experience
- Remote working model
You will be visiting the sites & meeting the team face to face upon commencing of the contract.
