Sr. Oncology Consultant - MN
We are seeking top-tier candidates to join a growing hematology oncology team dedicated to advancing innovative therapies that transform patient outcomes. This role focuses on representing a portfolio of products indicated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in patients with specific genetic mutations.
As a Senior Oncology Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success, building strong customer relationships, and delivering clinically meaningful value in a highly specialized and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales performance targets within an assigned territory
- Develop and execute thoughtful territory, account, and business plans
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals across all assigned accounts
- Deliver professional, ethical, and compliant product presentations that clearly communicate clinical value and appropriate use
- Engage in balanced, compliant clinical discussions using approved promotional and educational resources
- Collaborate effectively across a matrixed commercial organization, including nursing and other internal partners
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with co-promotion partners and external collaborators
- Monitor and manage territory operating expenses in alignment with budget guidance
- Prepare and routinely utilize comprehensive account and territory business plans
- Represent the organization professionally at meetings, conferences, and other engagements
- Maintain a strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment
- Support ad-hoc projects and additional business initiatives as requested
- Perform other duties as directed by Sales Leadership
Education & Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (scientific degree preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of successful biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or lab sales experience
- Hematology sales experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record as a top sales performer
- Experience selling in a complex sales environment
- Product launch experience is a plus
- Highly results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
Travel & Location
- Remote, field-based position with an assigned geographic territory
- Candidate must reside within the territory
- Expected travel averages approximately 60%, with variability based on residence
- Occasional weekend travel may be required
