The Role
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving technical sales and regional business growth, identifying new opportunities, and developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the construction ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical sales of vibration isolation solutions within the UK construction market
- Identify and secure new customers, projects, and business opportunities across key segments
- Develop and execute a regional sale and market growth strategy aligned with wider business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and engineering firms
- Analyse market trends and identify high-growth segments and target applications
- Support and strengthen collaboration with existing distribution partners and stakeholders
- Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management
- Provide technical consultation to customers, clearly communicating product benefits and applications
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
Candidate Profile
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction, Chemical or Business-related discipline
- Proven experience in technical sales within construction, building materials, or engineered solutions
- Strong understanding of the UK construction market and project lifecycle
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, commercial manner
- Experience managing project-based sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel across the UK (~40%)
