Regional Business Director - Hematology/Oncology

Role Overview
A rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Regional Business Director for their growing hematology salesforce. This leader will be instrumental in driving regional performance for a product launch across the north central region.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of up to nine oncology account managers.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Build and execute regional business plans that exceed sales objectives and align with national commercial strategy.
- Customer Engagement: Develop strong relationships with oncologists, healthcare institutions, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, and Training teams to ensure seamless support for customers and patients.
- Territory Optimization: Drive effective customer targeting, call planning, and territory management to maximize impact.
- Business Insights: Utilize CRM and analytics tools to assess performance, identify opportunities, and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Compliance: Ensure all regional activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
Experience and Skills
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in sales leadership.
- Oncology Expertise: 3+ years of oncology experience required (hematology preferred)
- Launch Experience: Proven success supporting or leading product launches; injectable product launch experience preferred.
- Leadership Ability: Demonstrated success motivating and developing teams in competitive markets.
- Strategic Acumen: Strong capability in regional planning, business analysis, and resource allocation.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership presence.
- Geographic Requirements: Must reside within the territory and be able to travel as needed.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: Competitive base salary ranging from $210,000 to $240,000
- Benefits: Competitive benefits package + eligibility for short-term and long-term incentives
