On behalf of an international life-sciences organisation, we are supporting the search for a QA Compliance Specialist to join a growing Quality Assurance team in the North Holland region. The role
As QA Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with internal quality systems and international standards. You will act as a central point of contact for customer audits and quality system-related activities at site level.
Your responsibilities will broadly be divided between customer-facing audits and quality system management, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate customer audits and act as the primary quality contact
- Manage and complete quality system questionnaires from customers and partners
- Maintain and manage the local quality system within a global document management environment
- Monitor quality compliance activities (internal and external) and track KPIs and quality metrics
- Maintain oversight of the certified status of products, processes, methods, and equipment
- Assess and manage deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions
- Act as Quality Lead for site-wide compliance and improvement projects
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality performance
Your profile
- Master's degree in a scientific discipline (Life Sciences, Biomedical, Chemistry, Pharma or similar preferred)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance or Compliance role
- Strong knowledge of QA principles, regulations, and standards
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch is required
Nice to have
- Experience with customer-facing communication
- Participation in internal and/or external audits
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
