Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager - Automation, Infrastructure & Technology Systems

Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA
Contract Duration: 20-28 Months
Onsite Requirement: Full-time onsite

We are seeking a Project Engineer or Junior Project Manager to support the execution of a major capital project involving engineering infrastructure, operational technology, automation and facility support systems. This position offers the opportunity to work across construction, commissioning and startup phases while supporting project leadership on the successful delivery of critical project milestones.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, contractors, vendors and project stakeholders to coordinate day-to-day project activities, monitor progress and support commissioning and handover activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination and execution of technical project workstreams.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors and engineering teams throughout project delivery.
  • Track project schedules, actions, risks, deliverables and key milestones.
  • Support installation, commissioning, startup and turnover activities.
  • Assist with FAT, SAT and system readiness activities where required.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, meeting minutes and progress updates.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with project standards, safety expectations and site requirements.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders to support efficient project execution and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within engineering, automation, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure or industrial project environments.
  • Experience supporting capital projects through installation, commissioning or startup phases.
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work within fast-paced project environments and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, advanced manufacturing or other regulated industries is desirable.
