Account Manager - SoCal & Las Vegas
Overview
This role focuses on expanding and managing key accounts within the clinical diagnostics space across hospitals, laboratories, emergency departments, clinics, physician office labs, and urgent care settings. The position combines strategic account management, consultative selling, and technical expertise to support diagnostic solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
You will drive revenue growth, expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure long‑term contract success across the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of successful sales experience in medical or clinical diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of laboratory and point‑of‑care environments, health system workflows, and health economics.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the territory (approximately four days per week, up to ~35% overnight travel).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft tools for data analysis and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Experience working with distributor partners and third‑party sales teams.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to interpret healthcare market data.
- Proven experience in complex selling, problem‑solving, planning, and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with success in team‑based selling environments.
- Experience with contract negotiation and navigating complex agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals and drive strategic initiatives.
