Key Responsibilities
- Market Development: Identify, analyze, and capitalize on new market opportunities for our diverse product lines, including recombinant proteins, gene editing reagents, and cell therapy solutions.
- Lead Generation & Sales: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline by networking, attending industry conferences, and leveraging strategic outreach.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with researchers, scientists, and decision-makers in biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
- Client Engagement: Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Deal Negotiation: Drive contract negotiations and licensing agreements in collaboration with legal and senior leadership.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide regular updates on business development activities, market trends, and sales forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 0-3 years of business development or sales experience in the life sciences industry.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on laboratory research experience in recombinant proteins, antibody discovery, biochemistry, or immunology.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of recombinant proteins, membrane proteins, and MHC technologies.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and close deals.
- Analytical mindset with strategic planning capabilities.
- Attributes: Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
