QC Project Engineer

Location: Salamanca, Spain (Onsite)
Contract: 12-month contract, full-time

The Quality Control Project Engineer will join a multidisciplinary team supporting the expansion of a Quality Control laboratory. The role is responsible for the technical delivery of multiple critical systems from construction through commissioning, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and schedule requirements.

Scope of responsibility includes:

  • Compressed air systems
  • Sanitary hot and cold water systems (AFCS)
  • Industrial hot and cold water systems (AFCI)
  • Electrical installations and control panels
  • Automation and control systems
  • Laboratory equipment, including two isolators
  • Laboratory furniture and fit-out


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technically with contractors and suppliers during execution
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, applicable regulations, and company standards
  • Supervise on-site installation activities and resolve technical issues
  • Verify materials, equipment, and installation quality against specifications
  • Coordinate FAT, SAT, functional testing, and equipment start-up
  • Lead commissioning activities and system verification
  • Manage and review technical documentation (P&IDs, drawings, datasheets, specifications)
  • Ensure full documentation traceability from construction through commissioning
  • Support site safety compliance and technical audits
  • This role requires strong hands-on site presence, solid technical knowledge of laboratory and utility systems, and experience delivering projects in regulated environments.
