The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious Country Manager to lead the growth and development of the German market.
This position is designed for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will work closely with interventional cardiologists, Cath Lab teams, hospital stakeholders, and distribution partners to accelerate market adoption and build long-term commercial success.
This is not a traditional management role focused on internal administration. Instead, the successful candidate will spend significant time in the field supporting customers, driving account growth, and developing commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial growth across Germany
- Develop and execute country-level business strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with interventional cardiologists and key hospital stakeholders
- Support procedures and provide clinical expertise within Cath Lab environments
- Work closely with distributor partners to maximise market penetration and commercial performance
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across strategic accounts
- Drive product adoption through customer education and clinical support
- Develop territory and account growth plans
- Analyse market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs
- Represent the organisation at congresses, workshops, and industry events
- Deliver regular commercial updates and market feedback to European leadership
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience within interventional cardiology
- Strong understanding of PCI, coronary intervention, and Cath Lab workflows
- Proven record of delivering sales growth and market expansion
- Experience working directly with interventional cardiologists and hospital decision-makers
- Strong business development and key account management expertise
- Experience supporting cases within a clinical environment
- Entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to operate independently
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Fluent German and strong English language skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across Germany
