Sales Manager Home Care and Personal Care

Home Care & Personal Care | Europe
Location: Europe, preferably Czech Republic, Spain, Austria or Germany
Employment: Permanent, Full-time | Hybrid

This is a commercially focused role combining business development, account management and technical sales. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers across your assigned European markets.

Working closely with internal sales, business support, customer service and supply chain teams, you will help customers identify the right solutions for their formulations and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across Home Care and Personal Care markets
  • Grow and strengthen relationships with existing customers
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential customer accounts
  • Provide technical guidance around formulations, ingredient performance and product applications
  • Support customers with technical troubleshooting
  • Manage pricing discussions and commercial negotiations
  • Negotiate customer contracts and support forecasting activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve account profitability
  • Monitor market trends, competitors and regulatory developments
  • Identify new product and innovation opportunities
  • Collaborate with European colleagues and the global HPPL team

Candidate Profile

  • 5-10 years' experience within the Home Care and/or Personal Care industry
  • Proven experience in B2B technical sales and business development
  • Strong commercial understanding combined with technical knowledge
  • Experience within Home Care, Personal Care and/or Industrial & Institutional (HI&I) markets is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable managing customers across multiple European markets
  • Willingness to travel across Europe
  • Fluent English required
  • Additional European languages are an advantage

Location

The position can be based in Europe, with a preference for candidates located in:

  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Spain
  • Czech Republic

The role operates on a hybrid working model and requires regular European travel.
