Clinical Excellence Lead (Nursing Background Required)
Clinical Excellence Lead (Nursing background required)
About the opportunity
We are partnering with a fast-growing healthtech startup on an exciting mission: democratizing patient access to clinical research. Today, patients diagnosed with incurable diseases are often left with prescriptions that only manage symptoms. This company is building technology that bridges the gap between eligible patients and clinical trials - giving them a real path forward.
As Clinical Excellence Lead, you will own the quality and accuracy of every patient-to-trial match the platform generates. Physicians trust this platform to surface the right patients for the right studies - and you will be the clinical backbone that makes that trust possible.
What you will do
- Interpret clinical research protocols and eligibility criteria to support end-to-end study readiness and execution
- Apply clinical expertise to evaluate patient-level data for suitability across research and care delivery contexts
- Perform structured quality review of AI-assisted data outputs to ensure clinical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
- Serve as the clinical quality checkpoint - ensuring no suitable patient is overlooked and every match pushed to physicians meets detailed inclusion/exclusion criteria
What we are looking for
- A nursing background (RN, LPN, or similar clinical credential) with a Bachelor's, Associate's, or equivalent degree in a relevant field
- Hands-on experience navigating healthcare data and clinical research protocols
- Familiarity with the clinical trial patient enrollment journey, ideally gained through working at or with clinical research sites
- Exceptional attention to detail - this role requires rigorous, structured review work
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a focused, non-customer-facing environment
- A startup mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments, challenge the status quo, and take ownership of your work
Why this role
This is not a typical clinical role. You will be at the intersection of clinical expertise and cutting-edge AI technology, working at a company that genuinely believes it can contribute to curing currently incurable diseases. Your work will directly influence how many patients gain access to potentially life-changing trials.
If you are a detail-driven, clinically experienced professional looking to make an outsized impact at a purpose-led startup, this is the opportunity for you.
