Territory Business Manager - Advanced Wound Care

Territory: Republic of Ireland South (Clare, Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Waterford)

Role Overview

The Territory Business Manager is responsible for delivering sales growth for the Advanced Wound Care portfolio across community and acute settings. The role focuses on clinical engagement, education, product evaluations and strategic account development to increase product access and usage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets across the defined territory.
  • Engage with key clinical stakeholders, including TVNs, Podiatrists, District Nurses, Specialist Nurses and ANPs.
  • Lead and support product evaluations in both hospital and community settings.
  • Secure and maintain tender listings.
  • Increase clinical access to key brands through formulary inclusions or clinical guidelines.
  • Drive pull‑through activity following formulary wins to ensure sustained usage.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical and product knowledge across relevant indication areas.
  • Develop and implement strategic territory and account plans.
  • Protect existing business through proactive relationship management.
  • Deliver training to healthcare professionals to ensure competent use of products.
  • Plan and support local educational activities and study days.
  • Meet all compliance, SFE and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records in accordance with company KPIs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales within primary and/or secondary care.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional colleagues.
  • Degree‑educated; biomedical sciences or nursing background preferred. Strong recent graduates in biomedical sciences will be considered.
  • High levels of motivation, resilience and goal orientation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence clinical decision‑makers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSE structure, priorities and terminology.
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong presentation and IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience engaging with diverse clinical stakeholders.
  • CRM experience preferred.

Working Requirements

  • Field‑based role, 5 days per week, with up to 90% customer‑facing activity.
  • Occasional overnight travel depending on business needs.
