Freelance Maintenance Engineer - Part-Time (Saturday-Sunday)
Location: On-Site, Netherlands
Contract Duration: 9 to 18 Months
Working Hours: Saturdays and Sundays, 08:00 to 20:00 (24 hours per week)

A Netherlands-based manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled and dependable Freelance Maintenance Engineer to oversee weekend maintenance operations. The position requires strong expertise in either mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally supported by experience in the medical devices industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, automated, and semi-automated machinery
  • Conduct routine maintenance of production equipment and facility systems
  • Support the creation and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures for equipment
  • Collaborate with Engineering to improve machine safety, reliability, yield, and capacity
  • Work both independently and cooperatively across departments
  • Complete all assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 13485 and follow Quality Controlled Procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Multi-skilled background in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair
  • Experience working within a GMP-regulated environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical issues under time constraints
  • Fluency in English

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience working with pneumatic cylinder systems
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485
  • Background in the medical device industry
