Cluster Manager - South and East Europe (F/M/D) - Based in France

An experienced Cluster Manager for South and East Europe is being sought to drive regional sales efforts, ensure alignment with global strategies, and maintain a competitive edge in a fast-changing market. This key leadership role is responsible for implementing sales strategies across multiple markets, developing and executing business plans, and leading a high-performing team to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives.

Role Overview

The Cluster Manager for South and East Europe will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance, ensuring alignment with global goals, and fostering a collaborative work environment. This individual will manage and develop regional teams while optimizing sales initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the sales function within the South and East European region, ensuring alignment with the global strategy.

  • Developing and implementing regional sales business plans, defining pricing policies, product mix, and brand portfolio strategies.

  • Monitoring sales performance, refining strategies as needed, and ensuring compliance with company processes.

  • Collaborating closely with marketing, business development, and key stakeholders to enhance sales growth at the regional level.

  • Overseeing team development, providing clear performance goals, fostering open communication, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements within all operational markets.

  • Actively contributing to the Sales Leadership Team, reinforcing a strong customer-centric approach.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles (minimum 10+ years), preferably within the cutting tools, machining, or industrial machinery industry.

  • Strong business planning and execution capabilities.

  • Excellent team leadership and development skills, particularly in remote and multicultural environments.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in English (additional European languages are a plus).

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Excel, and other sales-related IT systems.

  • A strong sense of ownership, personal commitment, and a passion for customer success.

Location Requirement

This position requires the candidate to be based in France, with flexibility for travel across the South and East European region.
