A global leader in high-performance polymers is seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee the strategic implementation of business objectives with distribution partners. The role will also involve technical and commercial customer support, as well as contributing to international projects and identifying areas for optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align business objectives with distribution partners and drive their implementation.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers.
- Contribute to international projects and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute sales plans.
- Build strong market and product knowledge.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A degree in Engineering (Plastics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar).
- Strong business acumen and experience in customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with sales tools and strategies.
- Experience or knowledge in the plastics industry, particularly injection moulding.
- Independent, structured work style with a high degree of initiative and resilience.
- Results-driven with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English AND German. Additional languages are a bonus.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of the time).
