Role
Medical Leadership
Lead the German Medical team.
Develop talent and key capabilities within local teams.
Serve as a strategic partner and business leader.
Ensure governance, compliance, and patient-centric practices.
Align medical insights with global Anti-Infective strategy.
Manage the budget efficiently and embed global medical processes.
Foster a Specialty Care culture with scientific expertise and strong partnerships.
External Engagement
Build and maintain scientific partnerships with experts and organizations.
Lead local patient engagement and advocacy efforts.
Act as a medical spokesperson for the business.
Engage with competitors to resolve disputes.
Medical Expertise
Provide expert guidance on Anti-Infectives and key initiatives.
Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, and R&D.
Oversee material development and approval per regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Medical Doctor or Pharmacist
Experience: 7+ years in Medical Affairs or 2+ years in Clinical Practice
Language: Fluent in written and spoken English
Expertise: German Medical Signatory
Leadership: Prior Country Medical Director experience
Launch Success: Specialty Care and/or Rare Disease
External Engagement: Proven ability to build strong scientific partnerships
Additional Skills: Experience in Clinical Development/Operations
Global Exposure: Familiarity with markets beyond Germany or regional Medical Affairs roles
