Are you a strategic leader with a passion for patient advocacy and rare diseases? This is a unique opportunity to shape global advocacy efforts and drive meaningful change for patients and their families. We're looking for a dynamic Senior Director of Global Patient Advocacy to lead initiatives that inform, empower, and activate patient communities across multiple therapeutic areas, including Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC), Urea Cycle Disorders (UCD), Sleep Disorders, and Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (VEDS).


🔍 What You'll Do

  • Define and execute global patient advocacy strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patient advocacy organizations worldwide
  • Serve as the internal expert on patient needs and advocacy trends
  • Develop and manage strategic and tactical advocacy plans, including budget oversight
  • Represent the organization at key advocacy meetings and patient-focused events
  • Collaborate with internal teams (medical affairs, regulatory, commercial, clinical development, and more) to integrate patient insights into company initiatives
  • Lead sponsorship and grant request processes for advocacy partnerships
  • Champion a culture of patient centricity across the organization

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, business, marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or patient advocacy space
  • Proven success in patient engagement, advocacy strategy, or organizational partnerships
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience developing educational resources and advocacy communications is a plus
