Business Development Manager - Northern CA/Bay Area Region
A global leader in providing cutting-edge model systems and services for preclinical drug discovery and development is currently looking for a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to support their growth in the Northern California region. This remote role offers the flexibility of working from home.
What You'll Do
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Promote our comprehensive suite of preclinical research services and genetically engineered mouse models.
- Collaborate with internal scientific and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Gather and communicate insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Serve as a knowledgeable advocate for the organization's services and their role in advancing biomedical research.
- Represent the organization's mission and values with professionalism and integrity.
What the Team is Looking For
- A degree in life sciences or equivalent experience is required; advanced knowledge of preclinical mouse models is highly desirable.
- Strong background in drug discovery, CRO services, and business development within the biopharma industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or client-facing roles, preferably within pharma or biotech.
- Familiarity with in vivo pharmacology is a plus.
- Comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and scientific discussions.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (25%+ travel expected).
- Self-starter with a passion for biomedical innovation and a collaborative mindset.
