Manager Production Planning
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of scheduling activities for raw materials, packaging components (primary and secondary), and bulk/finished goods. Ensure seamless coordination across supply chain functions to support operational needs.
- Engage in regular cross-functional meetings to align supply and production priorities.
- Work closely with procurement to confirm material availability and delivery timelines.
- Drive initiatives to streamline inventory and reduce excess stock.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing daily communications related to demand forecasts, production updates, and delivery planning.
- Participate in regular alignment calls to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Assist the logistics coordinator in preparing export documentation and managing shipment processes.
- Facilitate communication between warehouse teams, freight providers, and customers to ensure timely dispatch.
- Handle various administrative duties, including the creation of internal documentation, standard operating procedures, and ad-hoc reports.
- Generate monthly performance dashboards and KPI reports tailored to production planning activities.
- Support the Production Planning Manager and Head of Supply Chain with data-driven insights and presentations.
Your Background
- Completed tertiary education (e.g., Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
- Proven experience in supply planning, export operations, or order fulfillment
- Additional certifications or training in international trade, logistics, or transportation are a plus
- Strong communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken
