HR Professional - Strategic HR Partner

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Professional to join our team and support our local operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a matrixed organization and is passionate about driving strategic HR initiatives while ensuring compliance with national regulations and employment standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate HR processes including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, talent development, compensation & benefits, and employee experience.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the local management team, contributing to business planning and execution.
  • Ensure effective implementation of global HR programs and country-specific initiatives.
  • Provide people analytics and insights to support decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with local unions and works councils, ensuring effective communication and negotiation.
  • Support managers in leadership development and organizational change.
  • Oversee contract management, payroll, social security, employee insurance, and welfare.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and salary payments.
  • Represent the company in employer branding efforts and partnerships with external organizations.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HR legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to execute HR policies and processes effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in HR consulting and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional HR role.
  • Solid background in industrial relations and union collaboration.
  • Experience in implementing and following up on HR processes.

Additional Information

  • Occasional international travel may be required.
  • The role reports within a matrix organization structure.
  • Flexibility to take on additional duties within the scope of HR.
