Quality Specialist (Freelance - 12 Month Contract)

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to join a leading medical device organisation based in Brussels on a 12-month freelance contract. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in quality remediation activities and ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support quality remediation projects across QMS processes
- Conduct gap analyses against ISO 13485 requirements
- Identify non-conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA/RA, manufacturing, and engineering
- Update documentation, SOPs, and support audit readiness activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Specialist or Quality Engineer within the medical device industry
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 13485
- Hands-on experience in remediation projects and gap analysis
- Experience supporting internal or external audits
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
