Overview
A leading pharmaceutical/biotech organisation is looking for an experienced Freelance Clinical Supply Chain Planner to support a growing portfolio of clinical trials. This is a fully remote role offering immediate impact within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage clinical supply plans aligned with study protocols and enrolment forecasts
- Oversee inventory levels and resupply strategies across global depots and trial sites
- Drive demand planning and forecasting to ensure continuous supply and minimise waste
- Work closely with Clinical Operations, Logistics, QA, and external vendors
- Support and optimise IRT/RTSM systems
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks across ongoing trials
- Provide regular reporting and KPI tracking
Requirements
- Strong experience in clinical supply chain planning within pharma, biotech, or medical device
- Proven track record supporting clinical trials (Phase I-III)
- Experience with IRT/RTSM systems
- Solid understanding of GxP (GMP/GDP) requirements
- Comfortable working in a remote, global, cross-functional environment
- Immediately available or short notice preferred
