Contract: Freelance / Contract

Overview

A leading pharmaceutical/biotech organisation is looking for an experienced Freelance Clinical Supply Chain Planner to support a growing portfolio of clinical trials. This is a fully remote role offering immediate impact within a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage clinical supply plans aligned with study protocols and enrolment forecasts
  • Oversee inventory levels and resupply strategies across global depots and trial sites
  • Drive demand planning and forecasting to ensure continuous supply and minimise waste
  • Work closely with Clinical Operations, Logistics, QA, and external vendors
  • Support and optimise IRT/RTSM systems
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks across ongoing trials
  • Provide regular reporting and KPI tracking

Requirements

  • Strong experience in clinical supply chain planning within pharma, biotech, or medical device
  • Proven track record supporting clinical trials (Phase I-III)
  • Experience with IRT/RTSM systems
  • Solid understanding of GxP (GMP/GDP) requirements
  • Comfortable working in a remote, global, cross-functional environment
  • Immediately available or short notice preferred
