Technical Sales Manager - Animal Nutrition
Location: St-Malo, Brittany, France - Hybrid · Full-time
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Western Europe Area Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial growth of specialty products, working closely with clients across the animal nutrition industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand the specialty product portfolio within your region.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence (industry trends, technical and competitive insights, regulatory changes, opportunities, risks, growth prospects) to support strategic recommendations for Marketing & Innovation.
- Understand client needs and challenges to deliver tailored product solutions.
- Serve as the technical expert for your region, supporting and training sales teams to enhance their technical knowledge.
- Negotiate agreements and oversee their implementation.
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities.
- Ensure smooth order processing and client service.
- Maintain accurate reporting of activities and market data in the company CRM.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in animal production or related field, with a passion for the sector.
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in animal nutrition.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Skilled negotiator with persuasive abilities.
- Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
