About the Role
The Sales Director DACH will lead commercial operations across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, defining market strategies, and building high-performing sales teams in a competitive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides strategic and operational leadership for the DACH sales organization.
- Leads, coaches, and develops national sales teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Defines and implements territory plans, compensation strategies, and performance metrics.
- Builds strong customer relationships and leverages market insights to identify new opportunities.
- Forecasts, analyzes, and reports on sales performance; ensures adherence to budgets and policies.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Marketing to optimize outcomes.
- Drives execution of key product initiatives and tactical marketing activities.
- Monitors business performance, anticipates challenges, and delivers creative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional sales experience in medical devices or related industry, including 3+ years in international leadership.
- Proven track record of delivering sustained sales growth and new business development.
- Minimum 5 years of team leadership or project management experience.
- Strong understanding of healthcare markets, technologies, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrix organizations.
