Senior/Principal Scientist, Pharmacometrics

About the Role:
We're seeking to connect with an experienced and highly motivated Senior Scientist with expertise in Pharmacometrics to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our drug development programs by providing quantitative insights and modeling expertise to optimize therapeutic strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pharmacometrics Modeling: Develop and apply population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) models to support drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis and interpretation using advanced modeling and simulation techniques to inform dose selection, study design, and decision-making processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical pharmacology, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and other teams to integrate pharmacometric analyses into overall drug development strategies.
- Regulatory Support: Prepare and review regulatory documents, including model-based drug development plans, and contribute to regulatory interactions and submissions.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scientists and contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies within the team.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements in Pharmacometrics and contribute to the development of new modeling approaches and tools.
Qualifications:
- Education: Ph.D. in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Pharmacometrics within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in pharmacometric modeling software (e.g., NONMEM, Monolix, Phoenix NLME) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SAS).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex scientific problems.
