Remote BD Scientist - Biologics (In-Vivo Models)
(Fresh PhDs & Postdocs strongly encouraged to apply)
Our Firm is partnering with a rapidly growing global biopharma (nearing half a billion in annual revenue) on a critical hire that sits at the intersection of science and strategy. If you're a hands‑on scientist who lives and breathes mouse modeling for biologics-think mAbs, ADCs, bispecifics, etc.-and you're curious about translating your bench expertise into a career in the Biopharma/Biotech industry (& getting off-bench sooner rather than later), this is your runway.
Why this role?
- Science-first BD. The company's edge comes from cutting‑edge platforms and a broad therapeutic footprint spanning immuno‑oncology, inflammation/autoimmunity, neurology, and cardio‑metabolic areas-giving you a diverse scientific canvas to engage partners across modalities.
- You bring the science; they'll teach the business. Structured onboarding, training, and ongoing support are in place to help scientists become exceptional partner‑facing leaders. (The scientific foundation can't be taught-that's you.)
- Impact you can feel. You'll help license, position, and advance novel antibody assets and in vivo capabilities with biotech and biopharma organizations-work that ties directly to pipeline momentum and patient outcomes.
- A clear path from bench scientist to leader, with structured training, mentorship, and daily exposure to real deal‑making.
- A chance to operate across multiple therapeutic areas and modalities, amplifying your scientific range while building relationships with like-minded professionals across the Biotech/Biopharma industry.
What you'll do:
- Translate science to strategy. Engage with Biotech & Biopharma leaders, unpack their in-vivo needs, and connect them to the right biologics platforms and assets; then drive discussions through to signed agreements.
- Build the market. Proactively develop new relationships, cultivate key accounts, and negotiate terms that create win‑win collaborations.
- Be the face at the right places. Represent the company at scientific meetings and conferences; contribute to brand‑building and awareness alongside Marketing.
Qualifications:
- PhD (or equivalent) in a bioscience field with hands‑on in-vivo mouse modeling relevant to biologics discovery/development (oncology, immunology, neuro, metabolic, etc.).
- Curiosity about biopharma business and a go-getter mentality.
- Strength in scientific communication-verbal & written, compelling data storytelling, and ease interacting with senior scientists and leaders.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and key industry events.
- Must have U.S. work authorization.
