Program Manager
EPM is currently partnered with a trusted client of over 4 years that is currently seeking to embed a freelance program manager within their team to support them on one of their leading accounts.

Contract Criteria:
- 3-Month Initial Engagement (Potential to extend)
- 40 hours per week
- 80% Remote (with limited travel to meetings and events - see below)
- Outside of IR35 (if based in the UK)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver complex client projects, ensuring high‑quality, consistent outputs across accounts
- Manage client relationships, providing strategic advice, expectation management, and plan‑management support
- Oversee project governance, identifying risks, resolving bottlenecks, and maintaining accurate project and publication records
- Lead and support account teams, mentoring junior colleagues and coordinating publication, manuscript, and congress activities
- Drive best‑practice project execution, stakeholder collaboration, business development support, and financial awareness
Role Requirements:
- Strong communicator with a clear customer focus and the ability to manage client expectations, priorities, and timelines
- Proven project and client management skills, including prioritisation, adaptability, and delivery under pressure
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of financial processes and ROI
- Collaborative team player with solid Microsoft Office capability
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with flexibility to travel for client meetings and events
